Just minutes ago I got back from road trip with Ziggy Wild. Had an awesome time in sunny Poland, where Ziggy took part in the UBC Charlotta Rock Festival. We were all really exited as the winner of the competition gets an opportunity to support either Robert Plant; ZZ Top or Santana at the Rock Legends Festival in July.
(Unbelievable, I know!)
During 2 days there were 15 bands from 8 different countries performing in front of an international jury. Draw of the performance order meant that - of course- Ziggy had to go on first. Hearing this, it seemed like a bad thing in the beginning but later, when we found out how great all the other bands were, I started to think it prevented a lot of pressure.
And what did we do after that? Enjoyed the sun. Hated the sun. Praised a good cold beer.
Made new friends. Became a part of a Guiness World Record.
You know, the regular.
And guess what- we WON!!! So as for now, it seems we'll be back in Poland soon.

DAY 1 - ON THE ROAD
After spending 2 hours in the bus to Tallinn I met up with the band to start a trip to Ustka, Poland. Everyone's happy 'cause we have no idea there will be 20+ hours of road ahead.
DAY 2 - DAY I OF THE COMPETITION
The pain of 1-hour-sleep fades away when the first thing greeting you at the venue is Estonian national flag. Other countries taking part of the competition were Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
Meeting up with everybody for local tour, including a stage too-big-to-believe and a zoo.
